Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded all-time high recovery of 237 COVID-19 patients in a day, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
The Health Department has lauded the efforts of the frontline warriors for the achievement.
“The untiring efforts of our Covid Warriors has led to an all- time high recovery of 237 COVID-19 patients in a day!” We salute the dauntless spirit of our frontline workers”, it tweeted.
Of the 237 recovered cases, 70 from Cuttack, 54 from Khurdha ,20 from Jagatsinghpur, 19 from Kandhamal, 17 from Ganjam, 9 each from Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj, 8 from Keonjhar, 7 each from Dhenkanal and Puri.
Besides, 4 each from Kendrapara and Nayagarh, 2 each from Kalahandi, Malkangiri and Sambalpur, and 1 each from Boudh, Jharsuguda and Sundergarh have recovered from the virus.
With this, the total recovered cases of Odisha now stand at 3534.
