Bhubaneswar: As directed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to ramp up testing in the fight against Coronavirus, Odisha continues to improve its testing conducting over 60,000 tests in a single day.
Odisha has tested as many as 63,209 samples in a single day on Tuesday at 56 labs across the State, informed Additional Chief Secretary Health and Family Welfare Pradeepta Kumar Mohapatra.
The tests include 55780 Antigen, 7295 RTPCR and 134 TrueNat tests.
Mayurbhanj district recorded highest 8451 tests, followed by 8243 tests in Kendrapara and 8122 tests in Ganjam, he added.
