Berhampur: Amid the rising cases of COVID-19, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange today urged the people of the district not to travel more than 1 km from their native places.
Taking to Twitter, Kulange appealed the people not to hide symptoms like fever, cough, breathlessness and diarrhea.
He further urged the denizens of the district to inform the nearest ASHAs if they have any such symptoms.
The Collector also asked the shopkeepers to wear masks and use sanitizers, and barricading in front of the shops and draw circles for the customers.
FIR will be filed and the shop will be closed for seven days if violations of above norms, he added.
We request to Ganjam people
1) Not to travel more than 1 km from your native place. Be at home

Cough
Breathlessness
Diarrhea
3)Tell immediately to nearest AASHA about it
