Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to allow seven days leave to those government officials who are infected with the Covid-19 virus instead of the previous order of fourteen days. According to a notification issued by the General Administration And Public Grievance Department, a modification has been made in the previous order of March 2020 thereby reducing the leave period allowed from fourteen days to seven days.
The decision has been taken keeping in view the trends in the Third Wave which saw early recovery from the infection. The notification also says that, however, leave beyond seven days may be granted on production of Medical Certificate.
