Bhubaneswar: As many as 369 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been found in Odisha capital city in the last 24 hours, said the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday.
Of the new cases, 294 are the local contact cases and the rest 75 are from quarantine, it said.
Meanwhile, the capital city has reported recovery of 356 patients from the virus during the same period.
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the city jumped to 21,895, which includes 3537 active cases.
The BMC said that further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts and nearby houses are being quarantined and sanitized, and they will be under active surveillance, it added.
