New Delhi: India reported as many as 19,148 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 434 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry data.
With this, India’s coronavirus tally has crossed the six lakh-mark amid a gradual relaxation of the lockdown restrictions imposed since March.
More than 3.5 lakh patients have recovered so far.
Ten states – Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana and Karnataka – account nearly 90 per cent of the total corona infections in the country.
