Bhubaneswar: The first day of first phase of vaccination has been conducted successfully in Odisha as 12,941 Covid worriers have taken the vaccine today.
The State Government had scheduled to provide vaccine to 16, 314 Covid worriers on the first day itself.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik himself monitored on the launching of State’s COVID19 vaccination drive.
The CM interacted with vaccinated health workers and collected feedback via video conferencing.
Patnaik further congratulated the health workers & appealed for their cooperation in the vaccination drive.
Commending the Covid warriors, CM said that the State is proud of their dedication and sacrifices over the last 10 months in the line of duty.
The Odisha Government has made all necessary arrangements for vaccination in 161 sites across all 30 districts.
