New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Serum Institute of India (SII) in Pune on November 28 to take stock of Covishield vaccine development.
The Covishield vaccine is being developed by British-Swedish pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca in collaboration with UK’s Oxford University.
Pune-based SII has teamed up with the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca for the manufacturing and distribution of its Covid-19 vaccine candidate ‘Covishield’ in India.
The Prime Minister will visit SII to review the work on the development of the vaccine.
