Balasore: In a further boost to Odisha’s fight against coronavirus, a standalone COVID-19 hospital has been set up in Balasore district.
The State Government has joined hands with Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC) for setting the COVID-19 hospital.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik praised the efforts of the district administration and OHPC in making the hospital functional in short time.
The standalone, free of cost hospital will treat COVID-19 patients in this part of the State, the CM said.

Funded by OHPC and managed by Jyoti Hospital, the hospital has 120 beds and 12 ICUs.
