Cuttack: Odisha Vigilance on Thursday raided an illegal sawmill in Cuttack district and seized timber worth around Rs 17 lakh.
In a joint forest raid conducted by forest wing of the Vigilance on the illegal sawmill at Badheisahi village in Cuttack Sadar PS, total 501 Cft of valuable timber and sawmill accessories worth approx Rs.17 lakh seized.
The investigation is underway in the matter, the Vigilance informed.
