New Delhi: Schools and educational institutions in the 11 coastal and adjoining districts will remain closed on Monday, announced Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik after reviewing the cyclone situation in the State from New Delhi.
The Chief Minister chaired a high level meeting through video conferencing from New Delhi to review the State Government’s preparedness for the cyclone storm cyclonic storm ‘Gulab’, which is likely to affect seven districts in Odisha.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of saving lives and directed the officials to go beyond what is needed to ensure this.
The Chief Minister urged them to evaluate peple from vulnerable areas to safer places by this afternoon.
