Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Tuesday cancelled leave of its employees from October 23 to 25 after the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted that a tropical cyclone is likely to form over west central Bay of Bengal around October 23 or 24.
The Government has directed the employees of the districts likely to be affected not to leave headquarters during the period.
The government will also hold a high level meeting at 4 pm today to discuss about preparedness for the possible cyclone.
