Berhampur: De Paul School Berhampur, one of the most reputed schools in Odisha, organized a science exhibition, blood donation camp and free dental health camp at its campus on Saturday.
The events were organized under the esteemed guidance of the Principal, Reverend Father Ricardo Pradhan C.M., and the Vice Principal, Reverend Father Joshua Epibemo Kikon C.M.
The science exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Keshav Chandra Shadangi, Lecturer of Physics, and Dr. Saroj Kumar Das, Lecturer of Chemistry, both from Autonomous Science College, Hinjilikatu.
The students from classes 5 to 10 showcased nearly 60 projects, which were carefully evaluated and commended by the distinguished judges.
In addition to the exhibition, a blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with HDFC Bank and Amo Odisha Sambad. Both parents and staff members of the school participated willingly in the blood donation drive, contributing to saving precious lives.
A free dental health camp was also held on the school premises, with renowned dentist Dr. Chinmaya Subudhi assisting. Furthermore, on August 9, 2024, tetanus and diphtheria vaccinations were administered to students of classes 5 and 10, following the directives of the Additional District Urban Public Health Officer, Berhampur.
The programs were successfully conducted under the supervision of the Principal and Vice Principal, supported by the dedicated efforts of the school staff.
Guided by the motto, “The best way to predict the future is to create it,” the events not only fostered the spirit of scientific inquiry among students but also contributed to the well-being of the community by promoting health and saving lives.
