Bhubaneswar: The delegates attending the first ever International Conclave on Urban Transformation here have appreciated the rejuvenation works being carried out by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
A team of delegates on Friday visited the Drain-10 site where they were shown how the BMC transformed the waterbody under Ama Pokhari MUKTA into a beautiful lake view.
Additional Commissioner BMC, WRU Team, DC-MUKTA, Experts of Waterbody rejuvenation, Team BMC Engineers, TULIP & SHGs implementing the work were present during the visit.
The three-day International Conclave on Urban Transformation began here on Thursday with focus on decentralised, inclusive and community led development. It is being organised by the Department of H&UD, Government of Odisha.
More than 400 participants from 11 countries and 20 States of the country have participated.
