New Delhi: Delhi on Wednesday reported a rise in Covid cases in the last 24 hours, at 142 against 118 the previous day, but there was no new death, as per the government health bulletin.
Meanwhile, the Covid positivity rate of the capital city has been reported to be 1.29 per cent. The number of active cases stands at 575 out of which 387 patients are being treated in home isolation.
With 158 patients recovering in the last 24 hours, the total number of recoveries has gone to 19,74,960, while Delhi’s total caseload is 20,02,029 and the death toll in the city stands at 26,494.
The number of Covid containment zones stands at 78.
A total of 10,986 new tests — 6,927 RT-PCR and 4,059 Rapid Antigen – were conducted in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 4,01,00,629 while 24,939 vaccines were administered – 1,194 first doses, 4,693 second doses, and 19,052 precaution doses.
The total number of cumulative beneficiaries vaccinated so far stands at 3,69,06,361, according to the health bulletin.
