Delhi Violence: Death Toll Mounts to 10, Curfew Imposed in Some Areas

New Delhi: Delhi Police today evening fired tear gas at agitating mobs in Chand Bagh in Northeast of Delhi. The area has been on boil for the last two days.

The violence over the amended citizenship law has claimed 10 lives so far, said GTB Hospital authorities.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia visited the injured admitted to the Hospital.

Journalists of private news channel have also been attacked, with mobs forcing them to delete videos and photos of the violence.

Meanwhile, authorities have imposed curfew in four police station areas of North East Delhi, including Karawal, Maujpur, Chand Bagh and Babarpur.
