Bhubaneswar: Odisha Development Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena and 5T Secretary V K Pandian today reviewed the various development works at NIRTAR – National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research Cuttack. The visiting officials discussed about the various facilities available at the institute with the senior officials. It was decided that the Niali – Olatpur road will be converted into a two lane road in order to provide hassle free journey of patients to the Institute. It was also decided that the peripheral areas will also be developed. The Swami Vivekananda National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research Cuttack is an institute of national repute and hundreds of patients from from across the state visit it.
The visiting officials held discussions with the local people and patients of the institute regarding the problems and facilities. It was also decided that a new hostel will also be constructed in the campus. Works Secretary Vir Vikram Yadav, Cuttack Collector Bhabani Sankar Chaini and other senior officials were resent.
