DGP Arun Sarangi’s Jadoo Ki Jhappi Makes The Day For Sweeper on His Retirement Day, Wins Hearts

Cuttack: Dhani Naik, a sweeper working at the Odisha Police Headquarters in Cuttack, had never imagined that he will also get a resounding farewell after a resolute career that ended on the 31st January this year. His farewell day became one of the unforgettable moments for Dhani when the State Police Chief felicitated him and gave a Jadoo Ki Jhappi. An emotional Dhani became teary eyed the moment he was called by the office for a formal farewell event at the State Headquarters.

DGP Arun Sarangi felicitated Dhani with a warm welcome and hugged him thanking for his dedication and commitment. The touching moment also moved the senior officials and other staff present at the event. Dhani was also given a certificate of appreciation.

While Dhani had never imagined to get such a farewell for himself, this act of the DGP has left him in tears. He thanked the DGP for this kind gesture and also said that he is proud for being a part of Odisha Police. I really felt honored and happy for this, for the good gesture and act of greatness by DGP Sir, an elated Dhani said after the felicitation ceremony.
