Cuttack: Director General of Police (DGP) Arun Kumar Sarangi on Monday felicitated the Odisha Police Women’s Hockey Team on winning the bronze medal in the 72nd All India Police Hockey Championship-2024 held at Jammu.
The DGP congratulated the Women’s Hockey Team for their achievement at the mega competition.
He also exhorted them to keep up this spirit and bring glory to Odisha Police.
ADGP (Hdqrs.) RK Sharma and other senior police officers were present during the felicitation of the Odisha Police Hockey Team.

The 72nd All India Police Hockey Championship-2024 witnessed participation from 34 police teams from different States/UTs of the country besides Central paramilitary forces. Around 1000 players and officials took part in the ten-day-long event that concluded on February 8.
