Bhubaneswar: The newly elected MLA of Jharsuguda Dipali Das will take the oath of office today. Deputy Speaker Rajani Kant Singh will administer the oath to Dipali. The newly elected legislator had met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik yesterday at the Naveen Niwas and took blessings. Naveen has advised Dipali to work dedicatedly for the people of Jharsuguda.
Dipali had won the Jharsuguda by-poll with a record margin of 48,619 votes and defeated the BJP candidate. She had garnered 1,07,003 votes in the by-polls held on the 10th of this month.
