Bhubaneswar: The Election Commission of India team led by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar will arrive in Bhubaneswar today on a three day visit. The team will review the preparedness for the forthcoming General and Assembly elections in the state.
According to sources, the ECI team will held meetings with senior government officials and review the poll preparedness.
According to sources, the ECI team will interact tomorrow with national and regional recognized political parties, District Collectors, Superintendents of Police, Commissioner of Police, RDCs, and other senior officials of the state. On Saturday, the team will have meetings with Chief Secretary, DGP, State Election Commissioner, State Police Nodal Officer and other senior officials.
