Bhubaneswar: The Annual Matriculation Examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Odisha will begin today. This year, 5,51,611 students are appearing for the Board examinations. For this purpose, elaborate arrangements have been made at the Examination Centers across the state. The Board has set up 3,047 centers for smooth conduct of the exams. Twenty-one Police Stations situated in remote areas have been made Nodal centers. The Board has put up foolproof set up to prevent malpractice. For the first time, Artificial Intelligence has been used by the Board to prevent copying.
AI cameras have been installed at sensitive examination centers across the state as well as nodal centers. It will be monitored from the command control room situated at the Board headquarters. Arrangements have been made for live streaming and webcasting in all the examination centers.
The Board has appointed observers at all the examination centers. They will monitor and supervise the examinations from the time the question paper reached the Center until the exam answer sheets collected.
