Elaborate Security Arrangements Made for President’s Odisha Visit

Bhubaneswar: Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the President Droupadi Murmu’s Odisha visit.

The President is scheduled to reach Bhubaneswar tomorrow evening. She will attend various programmes in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack during her Odisha visit.

The President will attend the 10th convocation of the National Law University on July 26. She will lay the foundation stone of the Divine Light Hose of Prajapati Brahmakumari on July 27.

A total of 36 platoons of police force, 3 Quick Response Teams, 2 Special Tactical Units, 12 Additional DCPs, 25 ACPs, 40 Inspectors, and 120 SIs and ASIs will be deployed during the President’s visit to the state, informed DCP Bhubaneswar Prateek Singh.

The Commissionerate Police has also sought the help of experts to ensure that her programmes are not affected due to rain, he added.
