Naveen To Inaugurate Accenture’s Global Delivery Center In Bhubaneswar Today

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the Global Delivery Center of IT major Accenture in Bhubaneswar. The newest addition to Odisha’s IT revolution has come up at Odisha Technology Center in Acharya Vihar. Odisha has emerged as a major IT hub of the country and leading IT companies are setting up their centers in Odisha. Bhubaneswar has become the preferred destination as an IT hub of eastern India. Major IT and consulting firms such as Deloitte, IBM, Ernst & Young. PwC, Concentrix, Cognizant, and Accenture have made Odisha their major bases. The industry friendly policies of the state government continue to strengthen the technology oriented economy of Odisha.

In October last year, Ajay Vij, Country Managing Director, Accenture had said that “We are excited to set up our presence in Bhubaneswar, a city which is home to leading educational institutions, a rapidly growing IT ecosystem and a rich talent pool. Bhubaneswar will join our large network of existing facilities to deliver transformative technology solutions for clients across the globe and expand our footprint in India.”
