Enforcement Directorate Attaches Assets Worth Rs 29.83 Lakhs Belonging To Former IFS Officer Abahya Kant Pathak

Bhubaneswar: The Enforcement Directorate has provisionally attached assets worth Rs. 29.83 lakh of Abhay Kant Pathak, former IFS officer and the then Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Plan, Programme and Afforestation, P.C.C.F., Government of Odisha under Prevention of Money Laundering Act for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The Odisha Vigilance Department had arrested Abhay in November 2020 on charges of amassing disproportionate assets. Later, he was also suspended and subsequently given compulsory retirement from his service.
