Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has taken initiative to strengthen the capacity building of medical personnel in its fight against the coronavirus.
As part of the capacity building measures for medical personnel, as many as 416 faculties and staff of SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack and 72 of MKCG Medical College & Hospital in Berhampur have been given critical care training, said Subroto Bagchi, Chief Spokesperson of the State government on COVID-19 here on Saturday.
Around 1600 medical officials of AYUSH and 1,17,279 ASHAs & AWWs have been given basic training, he said.
Apart from it, around 906 persons including teachers and 3rd and 4th year students of four Dental colleges of the State have been provided with training, he added.
