Bhubaneswar: Finance Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha will present the Interim Budget for the financial Year 2024-25 today in the State Assembly. The Interim Budget is likely to be presented at about 5 pm. According to reports, it is likely that the Interim Budget will be of around Rs 90,000 crore. The full Budget will be presented after the State Elections that are scheduled to be held in four months. The total full Budget is likely to be of about Rs 2 lakh 60 thousand crore.
The Interim Budget will focus on sectors such as agriculture, health, education, irrigation, support to Mission Shakti and infrastructure. The budget will have provisions for various important projects including the BBSR Cuttack Metro project announced by the State Government.
