Puri: The first Coordination Committee meeting for the world famous Ratha Yatra in Puri will be held today. The meeting will be held today under the chairmanship of Central Division RDC Suresh Chandra Dalai and attended by Collector, SP, senior officials of the district administration, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Police and members of the various servitors.
The first meeting will deliberate and discuss on issues such as readiness for sanitation, healthcare, drinking water, transportation, power supply and law & order. This year, the famous Ratha Yatra is scheduled to be held on 20th June.
The auspicious chariot making process will begin on Akhsaya Tritiya on April 23rd.
