Bhubaneswar: While the 5T High School Transformation programme of the Odisha Government has brought a revolution in the field of education in the State, the programme has put a quite unique impact in the tribal-dominated Kandhamal district.
A 3D Virtual Reality lab has been opened at AJO High School, Phulbani, one of the 5T transformed schools in the district.
This is the first-of-its-kind initiative in the State, which will provide a numerous academic benefits to the students.
At virtual reality lab, the students can visualize atoms, planets, human anatomy and other aspects of science. The VR lab increases student’s interest in learning as it makes hard topics easier through a realistic view.
While inaugurating the lab, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash has lauded the initiative of Kandhamal Collector Ashish Ishwar Patil and district administration.
The Minister said that the initiative will be considered for implementation at other transformed high schools in the State.
