Bhubaneswar: The meeting of the Odisha Council of Ministers under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be held today evening at the Lok Seva Bhawan. This is the first meeting of the Council after the recent reshuffle of the ministry. The meeting is likely to discuss and approve the Budget for the financial year 2022-23. The Government is likely to present a Budget of around Rs 2 lakh Crore for the 2022-23 financial year during the monsoon session. The government had passed a vote-on-account of Rs 1.06 lakh this year as the model Code of Conduct was in Force due to the Panchayat and Urban elections in the state.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is likely to deliberate on the various government schemes with the new ministers in the Council Meeting today. He is also likely to give a development roadmap to the ministers for the next two years.
