Bhubaneswar: Four police personnel from Odisha have been conferred with the Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation” for the year 2023.
The Odisha Police personnel are Pravat Kumar Biswal, Dy.SP; Prasant Kumar Sahoo, Inspector; Durgesh Nandini Mohanty, Inspector and Manas Ranjan Pradhan, Dy.SP.
They are among the 140 police personnel in the country to have received the prestigious award.
The “Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation” was constituted in 2018, with the objective to promote high professional standards of investigation of crime and recognize such Excellence in Investigation. It is announced on 12th of August every year.
