Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be on a hectic schedule today on the occasion of Biju Jayanti, which is also observed as the Panchayatiraj Dibas. The Chief Minister is scheduled to start his day with floral tributes to former Chief Minister, legendary leader and his father late Biju Patnaik at the state assembly. Naveen will also unveil the reassembled Dakota plane of Biju Babu at the Biju Patnaik International Airport. He will also flag off the non-scheduled inaugural flight to Rangeilunda from the Bhubaneswar airport.
The Chief Minister will be on day long visit to the three western Odisha districts of Bargarh, Nuapada and Kalahandi. He is scheduled to reach Padampur at about 10. 30 am head to Haladipali in Sohela where he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of a number of developmental works. He is also scheduled to participate in a public rally. Naveen will undertake a road show on the Biju Expressway till Ghess. In Nuapada, Naveen will lay foundation stones and inaugurate developmental projects worth Rs 500 crore at Siletpani where he will also take part in a public function.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will undertake a road show of sixty kilometres from Brundabahal to Ampani in Kalahandi district on the new Biju Expressway and address a public meeting.
