Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal has expelled Sankhemundi Block President from the BJD for indulging in anti-party activities.
“Nilamadhab Raut, S/o- Pratap Chandra Raut, Sankhemundi Block President, Biju Janata Dal, Ganjam District is hereby expelled from Biju Janata Dal for indulging in anti-party activities with immediate effect”, the BJD said in a statement.
Raut has been expelled from the party by the order Biju Janata Dal President Naveen Patnaik, the statement added.
