Berhampur: In order to prevent possible spread of second wave of corona infection in the district, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange today appealed to the people to celebrate green and COVID-free Diwali this year.
He also urged the traders not to open firecracker shops in view of the corona pandemic in the district.
He further said that guidelines for issuance of license to firecracker shops will be reviewed keeping in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
