Chatrapur: In the words of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, “The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country”.
Keeping in view of the encouraging words of the revered Chachaji and as per direction of School and Mass Education Department, SURAVI and Kala Utsav-2022 was organised in a grandeur manner from school level to district level in Ganjam district.
SURAVI is an excellent platform which provides an unique opportunity for every children to show their hidden talents.
At this year’s programme, the students of various government-run schools showcased their talents at the district level Suravi programne celebrated on Saturday at Onslow Institutions, Chatrapur.
The students from Class IV to Class X participated in 20 different competitions under Suravi programme and students from class 9 to 12 participated in 10 different competitions under Kala Utsav programme.
On this occasion, Subhash Chandra Behera, MLA, Chatrapur, Parikhita Dash,DWO,Ganjam, Binita Senapati, DEO cum DPC, Rajesh Kumar Pradhan ADEO,
Dr. Saroj Mohan Palo, SC/ST Coordinator,Samagra Shiksha, Ganjam, all the BEOs of this district and headmasters graced the occasion with their loving presence.
The students took part in various talent competitions including handwriting, creative writing, essay debate, speech, dance, storytelling and quiz.
All the dignarities praised the efforts rendered by the children and encouraged the students to be a good human being in life citing different examples from the life stories of eminent person.
The successful students were awarded by the guests. The 1st students from each competition will participate in the State Level SURAVI and Kala Utsav to be held from November 14th to 16th at Bhubaneswar.
