Ganjam: Tribal Education Resource Centre Inaugurated in Bhanjanagar

Bhanjanagar: A Tribal Education Resource Centre has been inaugurated in Bhanjanagar in Ganjam district.

Ganjam Collector Dibya Jyoti Parida has inaugurated the Centre under the Multi Lingual Education (MLE) Program at Bedigoba UPS, Bhanjanagar.

Bhanjanagar Sub-Collector Jyoti Shankar Ray, DEO cum DPC SS Ganjam Binita Senapati, Dr. Saroj Mohan Palo, SC/ST Coordinator, SS Ganjam and other officials were present on the occasion.

The purpose of the resource centre is to help the students for acquisition of knowledge about their lives, culture, tradition, lifestyle, literature, language etc. It has textbooks, supplementary reading materials, training manuals, reference books, story books and TLM.

Besides, the resource centre also displays different cultural items, photographs of eminent tribal leaders and freedom lighter to enhance learning of the children.
