Berhampur: The Berhampur Police on Tuesday detained two boys for allegedly possessing fake passes for Gopalpur Beach Festival.
The boy both aged around 17 years old were detained by cops during security check.
During investigation, the boys revealed that they paid money to buy the passes from a person.
The Police detained that person and is investigating into the matter.
Berhampur SP Dr. Saravana Vivek M said that passes are not for sale and urged the people to inform authorities if they come across any sale of passes for Gopalpur Beach Festival.
Fake passes can be easily identified. Persons coming with fake passes will be detained and criminal case would be registered and action would be taken against them, he added.
