Berhampur: Tainted Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Panigrahi on Friday faced massive protest from the people of his constituency.
The locals have vehemently opposed the MLA’s visit to his constituency. They have stopped him near Lanjipalli overbridge, throwing eggs and water bottles at the MLA’s vehicle.
Alleging that the Panigrahi has cheated the innocent people in the pretext of offering jobs at Tata Motors, the locals showed black flags and gave slogans, like ‘Pradeep Panigrahi Go Back’, Return People’s Money’.
Earlier, a charge sheet was farmed against the MLA in a special court in Bhubaneswar in the Tata Motors job scam case.
