Bhubaneswar: The Gopalpur NAC in Odisha’s Ganjam district has received a major boost for development as Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has sanctioned Rs 113 lakh for various projects under the flagship MUKTA scheme for the financial year 2023-24.
As per reports, as many as 19 projects will be taken up under the MUKTA scheme. The projects include setting up street lights, provision of 24×7 clean drinking water supply to ever household, cleaning of sewers, beautification of roads with paver blocks, construction of model crematoriums and empowerment of SHGs through livelihoods.
After receiving the approval, Gopalpur NAC Chairman A.Janaki Ram, executive officer Manas Ranjan Mallik, all the councilors, SHG members, intellectuals and fishermen’s associations have expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian, Principal Secretary of Housing & Urban Development Department G. Mathi Vathanan and OSD to CM Dr. Gopabandhu Dash.
The Councillors of Gopalpur NAC led by chairman A Janaki Ram met Dr. Dash to express their gratitude to the Chief Minister for sanctioning funds under the MUKTA scheme.
