Bhubaneswar: Even though Odisha has been recording over 10,000 COVID-19 positive cases daily, the growth rate and doubling time of the corona cases are falling in the State.
According to Director of Public Health Niranjan Mishra, the State sees drop in growth rate and doubling time of the COVID-19 cases slightly.
He said the hospitalization rate is considerable low in Odisha.
There are more than 75000 active cases in the State. Of them, only 1200 are at hospitals. Hence, the COVID-19 situation in the State is under control, he said while adding that there is need to monitor the situation as it is predicted that cases may increase.
