Jeypore: The Koraput district administration has imposed Section 144 in Jeypore Sub-Division area ahead of Hanuman Jayanti.
The prohibitory orders under Section 144 will remain in force from 03.00PM to 09.00 AM from April 13 to April 20.
“As per the telephonic message of the SDPO, Jeypore, that there is possibility of occurrence of breach of peace, law and order situation in the jurisdiction of Jeypore Sub-Division. So, I declare any such assembly and gathering of more than two persons or any effort to create public nuisance to prevent such public tranquility and peace to be unlawful within the jurisdiction of Jeypore Sub-Division”, Jeypore Sub-Collector Bedabara Pradhan said in an order.
