Bhubaneswar: India’s leading private sector lender HDFC Bank launched a Mega Loan Mela in Balugaon on occasion of Branch Relocation Launch on 15th November’ 2022.
K Sudarshan Chakarvarthy, Collector cum District Magistrate, Khordha & CMDE NP Pradeep, Commanding Officer, INS Chilika graced the Loan Mela in order to increase Credit flow in Rural Economy and to help the marginalised sector.
Block Chairman , Sarpanch , Market Committee members participated.
Bank officials Animesh Biswal Vice President and Swasish Mohapatra , Sustainable Livelihood Initiative State Head facilitated the Loan Mela.
HDFC Bank increasing its rural presence in Odisha started Gold Loan also from the new premise.
SHG loans were disbursed to 5 Women SHG Groups and cheques handed over to Women SHG’s group of Chilka and Banpur.
The bank also disbursed loans to a fisheries and agriculture sector and also Tractors and Commercial Vehicles. Disbursement cheques were handed over by the Collector and Commodore N P Pradeep.
Deepak Kumar Singh, Zonal Head, HDFC Bank Odisha mentioned that Bank is committed to provide World Class services & all types of loans in the rural pockets as and Bank will also expand its ATM , BC Points and branches in Odisha to help the objective of Financial Inclusion in the State.
Singh reiterated that Bank will add another 34 more branches in this FY in Odisha.
