Bhubaneswar: Odisha is going to witness heat wave like conditions in the coming days as temperatures likely to rise two to three degrees more. Many places in the state witnessed temperature of 40 degrees Celsius yesterday. Capital city Bhubaneswar, which recorded 39.7 degrees yesterday, reported 32 degrees at 8. 30 am today morning. As many as fourteen places recorded temperatures of more than 39 degrees Celsius yesterday. Dry and hot winds progressing into the State from northwest and west India are likely to continue for some more days adding to the soaring temperatures. Jharsuguda and Baripada had recorded 40.4 and 40 degrees Celsius respectively yesterday.
Meanwhile, keeping in view the rise in temperatures, morning classes for all students of Class I to XII from have started from today.
