Berhampur: The schools and Anganwadi centres in Ganjam district will remain closed tomorrow in view of the heavy rainfall prediction by the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
“Keeping in view of the prediction issued by the Indian Metrological Department., Bhubaneswar, wherein Ganjam District is put in the category of scattered Heavy to very Heavy with Isolated extremely Heavy Rainfall on 10.09.2024, all Schools and all Anganwadi Centers of this district shall be closed on 10.09.2024 to avoid any untoward incident”, Ganjam Collector Dibya Jyoti Parida said in an official order.
The Malkangiri administration has also declared closure of all schools and Anganwadi centres in the district for tomorrow.
