Bhubaneswar: With the Indian Meteorological Department predicting another low pressure in the coming days, most of the western Odisha districts and coastal districts are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rains. Keeping in view the alert, Odisha Special Relief Commissioner Satyabrata Sahu today held a review meeting of the situation and asked the district collectors to remain alert to face any situation. He has also asked the district administrations to keep men and materials in case of flood situation in low laying areas. Speaking to media, the SRC said that all the District Collectors have been asked to be on alert and keep a close watch on vulnerable pockets. He also held a discussion with the Malkangiri Collector regarding water logging and flooding at some places.
