Bhubaneswar: An old age Himalayan Black Bear named Kulu born on 26.12.1995 in the Zoo passed away today at 3.05 PM following Tuberculosis.
It was under intensive care since 17.05.2020 under the guidance of Centre for Wildlife Health, OUAT, Bhubaneswar.
Normally life span of a Himalayan Black Bear is 25.
There are 2 Male and 3 Female Himalayan Black Bear left in the Nandankakan Zoo now.
