Bhubaneswar: In the wake of the hooch tragedy in Ganjam district that claimed two lives, the opposition Biju Janata Dal has formed a fact-finding team to access the situation.
The fact-finding team will visit Chikiti tomorrow to review the ground situation and submit its report to BJD President Naveen Patnaik.
The team comprising former MLA Usha Debi, BJD Ganjam district president Ramesh Chandra Chyau Patnaik and former MLA Bikram Kumar Panda will be led by former Minister Niranjan Pujari, informed senior BJD leader Pratap Jena in a press meet held at Sankha Bhawan.
The BJD has also demanded a Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) probe into the incident.
The death toll in the hooch tragedy to two as one more victim lost his life at the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur on Wednesday.
