Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan starrer biographical drama film Super 30 has collected around Rs 11-11.50 crore on its first day of business at the box office.
The film, which is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational program Super 30, was theatrically released on Friday. It has recorded a decent box office opening and is said to be higher than Ajay Devgn starrer Raid and Akshay Kumar starrer Padman
The collections are also higher than Hrithik’s last film, Kaabil, which released in 2017 with opening collections of around Rs 10.43 crore.
Super 30 is directed by Vikas Bahl. It also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Mrunal Thakur, Aditya Srivastava and Amit Sadh.
