Bhubaneswar: In a further boost to the organizational strength of Biju Janata Dal, hundreds of BJP leaders and workers joined the BJD in Gopalpur Assembly Constituency in Ganjam district.
Inspired by the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and his people-centric transformative initiatives, the BJP leaders and workers from Boxipalli GP in Rangeilunda block took the primary membership of the BJD at a joining programme held at the party office here on Tuesday.
BJD Organizational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das welcomed the new members to the party fold.
He said that their induction will further strengthen the party’s base in Gopalpur Assembly Constituency in the coming days.
Speaking on the occasion, OSD to CM Dr. Gopabandhu Dash urged the new members to follow the ideologies of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to serve the people.
Ganjam ZP Vice President Rajeswari Dora, Rangeilunda Block Chairman Ch Usharani, Vice Chairman Anita Mahankuda, Senior BJD leader S. Dharamraj Reddy and other party leaders were present at the programme.
