Berhampur: The 2021 batch officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Royal Bhutan Civil Service are on a two-day visit to Odisha’s Ganjam district from today to learn about the district administration’s participatory development convergence model.
A team of 38 officers led by Rastogi, Joint Director, LBSNAA arrived in the district on a study tour as part of their Bharat Darshan programme conducted by Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie.
During the visit, the officers will gain a first-hand experience of various welfare programmes and livelihood schemes implemented by the Ganjam administration, informed Shinde Dattatraya Bhausaheb, Project Director, DRDA, Ganjam.
The team will also learn Ganjam administration’s success in various verticals of development and will also get an exposure to Ganjam’s success in handling disaster management.
During the visit, the IAS officers will also learn about the 5T transformational initiatives, including the High School Transformation Programme in Ganjam district.
They will interact with Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange and other officials of district administration.
